Shanghai, dressed for the evening
A private architecture-and-style walk, a short portrait session for the two of you, then a table chosen around your taste. Add an introduction to the local queer scene if that is your kind of night.

Shanghai · Hangzhou · Chengdu
Shanghai style, tea-covered hills and the delicious, easy rhythm of Sichuan. A journey for people who like their culture lived, their tables generous and their afternoons unhurried.
Make it yours →China Seen Differently
Begin among the riverfront facades and small design addresses of Shanghai. Then step into Hangzhou’s tea landscape, where a cup becomes a conversation about place, season and craft. Chengdu brings the tempo down another notch: teahouses, spice, independent culture and a forested escape near Qingcheng Mountain.
Unveil Signature Experiences
Experiences designed around your private party, with the people, setting and pace chosen to suit you.
A private architecture-and-style walk, a short portrait session for the two of you, then a table chosen around your taste. Add an introduction to the local queer scene if that is your kind of night.
A hosted Longjing tasting in tea country, with time to understand the leaf, the firing and the season. In harvest season, ask about a hands-on picking or roasting session.
A private supper built around the flavours you want to understand, followed by a nightcap or an optional reserved table at a local performance venue.
Your final proposal confirms the hosts, locations, timing and inclusions of each signature experience.
A considered rhythm
A suggested route, ready to become something personal. We shape the final sequence around your dates and interests.
Riverfront grandeur, the former French Concession, galleries and small shops. One day belongs to architecture and contemporary design; another leaves room for wandering and your own discoveries.
Travel by rail, settle beside the lake or in the hills and explore Longjing with a local tea host. Balance a tasting with a temple visit or a walk, rather than filling every hour.
Connect to Chengdu with transport timed around the day. Discover neighbourhood food, teahouse life and contemporary culture; choose a panda visit, a museum or an evening in the queer scene.
A private transfer takes you towards the mountains. Follow a temple-and-forest route suited to your pace, with a final dinner and an unhurried morning before departure.
Stay a little longer. Add two nights for an anniversary celebration, more time in Shanghai or a slower tea-country stay.
The art of staying well
Design-led city hotels, a tea-country retreat and a quieter forest-side finish. Ask for a suite, a shared king bed or separate rooms; the proposal names the properties and room categories.
Tell us whether you want a shared king bed, separate rooms, a view to wake up to or a particular level of privacy. The details belong in the design from the beginning.
Travel with your people
A private celebration, a good table for two, a local night out or simply the freedom to enjoy the journey together. Let us know what would make you feel most at home.

Mostly gentle city and countryside walks, with optional longer forest trails. Build in a late start after a night out.
Tea harvesting is seasonal. Train, flight and hotel arrangements are selected together so this feels like one journey rather than a string of rushed connections.
