The Wall, with a table of your own
A privately guided walk on a permitted section of the Great Wall, followed by a beautifully prepared countryside lunch or picnic at an approved location.

Beijing · Xi’an · Huizhou · Shanghai
Imperial cities and ancient ideas, given space to breathe among Huizhou’s villages and Huangshan’s granite peaks. Finish with Shanghai’s contemporary edge.
Make it yours →China Seen Differently
China’s famous sights become more interesting when someone helps you read the details. This journey moves from imperial power and ancient trade to ink, village architecture and the landscapes that shaped Chinese painting. Between the big landmarks, there is room for a studio, a long lunch and a mountain morning.
Unveil Signature Experiences
Experiences designed around your private party, with the people, setting and pace chosen to suit you.
A privately guided walk on a permitted section of the Great Wall, followed by a beautifully prepared countryside lunch or picnic at an approved location.
A small private session with a calligrapher or painter: try the brush, understand the gestures and carry home something you made rather than another souvenir.
A village architecture walk with a knowledgeable local host, then a private courtyard dinner designed around the region’s food, with time to talk about the place beyond its photogenic walls.
Your final proposal confirms the hosts, locations, timing and inclusions of each signature experience.
A considered rhythm
A suggested route, ready to become something personal. We shape the final sequence around your dates and interests.
Read the capital through its palace, hutongs and contemporary art. Give the Great Wall a full day rather than squeezing it between urban stops.
Explore the Terracotta Warriors with a guide who can bring the objects to life. Return to a city of food, courtyards and layered histories, with an optional studio session.
Travel into southern Anhui for village lanes, water and whitewashed architecture. Dedicate a weather-flexible day to Huangshan, selecting trails and transport around your comfort.
Finish among riverfront buildings, independent design and contemporary dining. A farewell table and an optional portrait walk give the journey a personal ending.
Stay a little longer. Use the extra nights for a mountain stay, more art in Beijing or a celebratory Shanghai finale.
The art of staying well
A characterful Beijing base, comfortable Xi’an stay, a heritage-inspired Huizhou retreat and a polished Shanghai finale. Mountain accommodation is discussed separately from city luxury.
Tell us whether you want a shared king bed, separate rooms, a view to wake up to or a particular level of privacy. The details belong in the design from the beginning.
Travel with your people
A private celebration, a good table for two, a local night out or simply the freedom to enjoy the journey together. Let us know what would make you feel most at home.
