Well-known gay sauna-and-hotel in the heart of the Shinjuku scene — multiple floors of baths, sauna and rest areas, clean and foreigner-friendly.

24 Kaikan Shinjuku (24会館) is the flagship of Tokyo’s legendary three-branch sauna family — eight floors a short walk from Ni-chōme, ¥3,300–3,900, open 24 hours, with rooftop bath, bunks and the full ecosystem. The Ueno branch (bears, gym crowd) is reckoned the most foreigner-friendly and the Asakusa branch, the oldest, keeps English instruction sheets at the desk. All three verified operating February 2026. Tattoos are tolerated here in a way Japan’s onsen aren’t — sauna first, hot spring another day.
