Saloon (沙龍)

Saloon is one of the longest-running bars in the Red House plaza area, popular with a mixed-age local gay male clientele. The outdoor terrace seating on warm nights is a social focal point for the whole strip. Atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious; English is workable but not guaranteed. Consistently mentioned in recent traveller accounts as a reliable first stop.
