A jewel-box cocktail bar inside Wynn Palace — emerald-and-gold panels, an antique chandelier and seriously inventive drinks. Polished, inclusive and gay-friendly rather than a scene bar.
Tucked into the opulent halls of Wynn Palace on the Cotai Strip, Wing Lei Bar is a tiny 22-seat jewel box where head mixologist Mark Lloyd pours some of the most inventive cocktails in Macau. The room is pure theatre — emerald and golden wall panels, semi-precious stones (rose quartz, malachite, lapis, tiger's eye) and an 18th-century chandelier overhead — so it feels intimate and grand at once.
This isn't a gay bar in the cruising sense; it's an upscale, refreshingly inclusive cocktail hub that bills itself as a bridge between drink lovers and the wider bar world. For a chic, low-key date or a sophisticated nightcap before hitting the casinos, it's a lovely, welcoming stop — dress smart-casual and come for the drinks, not a dance floor.
