A few doors from FLM at 33 Jervois Street, Zoo Bar is the other anchor of Sheung Wan's gay strip — small, stylish and very much a place to see and be seen. The sound is top-40 pop-dance, the cocktails are strong, and the crowd is a well-mixed group of young local professionals, expats and visitors.
On Friday and Saturday it spills out onto the pavement; weeknights are much quieter. Watch for its themed parties — Neon, Topless & Harness and the like, where costumes are strongly encouraged — and the 7:30–9pm happy hour.
