Tucked in a cosy alley off Hollywood Road in Soho, T:ME (Time Bar) is the low-key, no-frills locals' favourite — a small, tastefully done room that's been pouring well-made, fairly-priced drinks for the best part of a decade. It trades flash for real conversation.

There's free-flow gin and vodka from 8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and it stays open very late (to around 5am), so it's where a Soho night tends to wind down rather than start.
