Silom Soi 4's 'House of Drag Queens' — sharp, funny, close-up nightly drag shows in a stylish, recently expanded New York-style bar.
Sitting at the end of Silom Soi 4, The Stranger Bar has built its name on drag — and does it brilliantly. Billing itself as the House of Drag Queens, it runs shows every single night (doors from 7pm, with sets typically around 9:30, 10:30, 11:50 and 1:00am), mixing comedy, lip-sync and genuinely accomplished dancing. Reviewers consistently rate the queens — host M gets repeat shout-outs — as the best drag in town, performed close enough that you feel part of the act rather than a spectator.
The venue recently moved into a larger home, nearly quadrupling in size while keeping that intimate, cheeky feel: a main bar, a mezzanine for cocktails, and a second floor with a private balcony for groups. There's a roughly ฿500 entry that includes two drinks. Easy to reach from BTS Sala Daeng (exit 1) or MRT Silom, it pairs perfectly with a pre-show drink along the soi.
