The late-night, shirtless circuit club off Silom Soi 2 — where the party keeps going after everywhere else shuts, with a buff, sweaty, dance-till-dawn crowd.
Originally named G.O.D. — Guys On Display — G Bangkok is the place the Silom crowd decamps to when the other clubs close. Set just off Silom Soi 2 (on Soi 2/1), it stays open until around 5:30am, hours longer than its neighbours, which has made it the city's definitive gay after-hours destination. Across three levels it pumps out circuit-style and harder dance music to a crowd that's predominantly shirtless, muscular and there to party hard; the main floor is for dancing, while the upper floor is known as the cruisier zone.
It's widely rated among the best gay dance clubs in Asia for sheer energy and a good-looking crowd. Two honest heads-ups from reviewers: smoking is permitted inside, which not everyone loves, and like the rest of Soi 2 it can get seriously overcrowded at peak times. Come late — this is where the night ends, not where it begins.
