We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

1. Senior Editor (Cultural Affairs):

We are searching for a highly experienced and insightful Senior Editor with a deep understanding of Chinese culture and a proven track record in journalism. The ideal candidate will possess excellent editorial judgment, strong writing and editing skills in both Mandarin and English, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities include overseeing the editing and publication of articles, managing a team of editors and writers, and contributing original content. Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, a Master's degree in journalism, cultural studies, or a related field, and demonstrable experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Specific Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily editorial process for the Cultural Affairs section.
Edit and proofread articles for accuracy, style, and clarity.
Develop and assign stories based on current events and cultural trends.
Mentor and guide junior editors and writers.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive coverage.
Maintain a high standard of journalistic integrity and ethical conduct.

2. Multimedia Journalist:

We are looking for a versatile and creative Multimedia Journalist to produce engaging content across various platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital media, excellent writing and video editing skills, and a passion for storytelling. The role requires a high level of proficiency in Mandarin and English, a strong visual sense, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with social media management is a plus. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.

Specific Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality video and audio content for online and print platforms.
Write compelling articles and social media posts.
Edit and post content to various online platforms.
Collaborate with other journalists and editors on multimedia projects.
Manage social media accounts and engage with followers.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in multimedia journalism.

3. Cultural Events Coordinator:

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for Chinese culture and a strong understanding of event planning and management. Responsibilities include coordinating cultural events, managing logistics, liaising with external partners, and promoting events to a wide audience. Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, strong organizational skills, and experience in event management are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Specific Responsibilities:
Plan and organize a range of cultural events, including exhibitions, workshops, and performances.
Manage event budgets and logistics.
Liaise with venues, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Promote events through various channels, including social media and public relations.
Oversee event setup and breakdown.
Evaluate event success and make recommendations for future events.
