Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)238
The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), organized by Hanban (the headquarters of the Confucius Institute), is a standardized test that assesses the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. The HSK is divided into six levels, from Level 1 (basic proficiency) to Level 6 (advanced proficiency). Each level corresponds to a specific set of Chinese language skills and knowledge.

Level 5
Recognizes and produces about 2,500 Chinese characters, understands highly advanced vocabulary and grammar, and can communicate fluently in all situations.
Level 6
Recognizes and produces about 5,000 Chinese characters, understands extremely advanced vocabulary and grammar, and can communicate with a native-like level of proficiency.
HSK Preparation
